Forged In Bloodwood Update

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share an update on the scope of this story. Lately, as I've been writing, I've noticed the word count growing rapidly, it's nearly novel length already! The problem is we've only just arrived in Dhucca. The story has expanded more than I anticipated.

I realised that if I tried to squeeze everything I have planned into just one book, I’d be doing these characters, and you, a huge injustice. I want this story to have the room it needs to breathe, the heart it needs to beat, and the space to really explore every dark corner.

Because of that, I’ve decided to turn this project into a full saga! The journey you’ve been following is now officially the Forged in Bloodwood series. With that shift, this first book is now called The Witch and the Wild.

It feels a bit bittersweet to realise we’re already nearing the finish line for Book 1, but I’m so incredibly excited to give this first book the ending it deserves instead of something rushed.

Don't worry, the adventure is only just beginning, and I can't wait to jump straight into Book 2 with all of you once we’ve turned the final page here.

Thank you for being such an amazing support system and for letting me find the best way to tell this story. I can't wait for you to see how this first part ends!
